RECONNECT 2023

We acknowledge that RECONNECT 2023 took place on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and that Tkaronto is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. Philanthropy must decolonize wealth and embed anti-racism into our practices as we walk toward reconciliation. The philanthropic sector has a long way to go, and we are using the Philanthropic Declaration of Action to chart our path.

Community Foundations of Canada worked alongside Toronto Foundation to host community foundations at RECONNECT 2023. We are also pleased that Mawer Investment Management rejoined us as our Lead Partner at Reconnect 2023! The Mawer team has supported community foundation conferences since 2015.
