Bursaries

How can I apply for a bursary?

Thank you so much for your interest in joining us as RECONNECT 2023. Our bursaries were a way to ensure everyone who wanted to could join us. Applications for these bursaries were open until November 26, 2025 and successful bursary applicants have been notified.

Registration and Fees

The registration fee includes access to sessions, breakfast and lunch, evening reception and some entertainment, and a $25 carbon offset fee. Here is a breakdown of the registration fees: 

  • Conference Registration, CFC Member: $1,025

  • Early Bird Conference Registration, Non-CFC Member (ends: March 31, 2026): $1,225

  • Conference Registration, Non-CFC Member: $1,375

Are there any group rates for my organization to attend RECONNECT 2023?

There are no group rates available. This is to ensure equity with smaller community foundations and provide the lowest possible registration fee for all. If space allows, Day Passes will be available on May 1, 2023. 


Accommodation 

We are gathering on the beautiful waterfront of Tkaronto | Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle.  We have secured member rates for guest room rates starting at CDN $289 plus tax.  We anticipate rooms will fill up quickly, so please book your hotel stay as soon as possible. You can access the link for booking the preferred rate on the Plan your visit page on our RECONNECT 2023 website. 

Additional Rooms

We have secured member rates for guest room rates starting at CDN $379 plus tax at the newly renovated Fairmont Royal York. The Royal York is conveniently located, a 10-minute walk to the conference site and across the street from Union Station. We anticipate rooms will fill up quickly, so please book your hotel stay through the below for preferred rates as soon as possible.

We understand securing accommodations has been top priority for community foundation members and all other registrants. We continue to look for ways to support and accommodate.

Full Schedule 

The full schedule and session details, alongside the guides for planning your trip to Tkaronto | Toronto and the conference app, will be available in March for all registrants.  We appreciate your patience and look forward to sharing the full details
